Welcome!

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Institute of Informatics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. I received a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS), a traditional Jesuitic university in Brazil.

I work at Unisinos as a Professor from the Graduate Program on Applied Computing. I conduct research on projects related to Internet-of-Things (IoT) applied to Healthcare solutions.

Also, I worked as a Guest Researcher at the Machine Learning and Data Analytics Laboratory (MaD-Lab) of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität (FAU).

In the course of my academic work I have co-authored 27 papers (9 international journals, 7 international conferences, and 11 brazilian conferences). Their subjects include: Information-centric networking (ICN); content distribution; peer-to-peer (P2P) networking; ubiquitous computing; and simulation of computer networks.

My natural language is Portuguese. I studied English in various occasions and participated in different publications and events in this idiom. I am also currently studying Italian and I have a basic level certificate of this idiom.

My full Curriculum Vitae, hosted in the Lattes platform, may be found in this link.
